What is Systems Engineering
Systems Engineering is a specialised sub-field within industrial Engineering. Consider that a system is really just an assembly of many different components and parts that are combined to form something much greater. Much of the work performed by a Systems Engineer results in the use of successful systems for individuals, teams and companies to operate effectively in any business setting.
Systems Engineers are responsible for applying the fundamental skills of Engineering to the various types of systems that operate within a business. They spend much of their time sifting through documentation and reports to determine the risk and life cycle of each system and how they can be improved.
